Microsoft
Game Studios today announced that golfers can start perfecting
their virtual swing at Microsoft's official "Links
2003" site, http://www.microsoft.com/games/links2003/.
Visitors can check out a list of the game's features,
screenshots, player bios, course screenshots and descriptions, swing
animations, desktop wallpaper and
the impressive "Links 2003" video shown at this
year's E3 show.
Golfers will
be able to experience the high level of realism
in "Links 2003" by viewing swing animations
featured in the player bio section. Golf aficionados
can observe the swings of such golf pros as Sergio
Garcia, Jesper
Parnevik, Annika Sorenstam
and David Toms. Golfers
can also use the
site to learn about the
new, highly anticipated Real Time Swing feature and begin
studying the game's six championship
courses through screenshots and descriptions. Twenty
additional courses that
will be included in an upcoming
expansion pack, "Links 2003 Championship
Courses," are also listed on the site.
"Links
2003" will feature improved photo realistic graphics, six
all-new championship courses, a growing list of
high-resolution 3-D characters and expanded online capability.
With its superior ball physics and unparalleled attention to
detail, "Links 2003" is the perfect way for golfers
to experience true-to-life golf on their PC. "Links
2003" will land on retail shelves this September.
