Q: What's new in Links Championship Edition?

A: Links Championship Edition includes the most Links golf available in one box. It features:
·	Links 2001 including the 1.21 update
·	Links Expansion Pack Volume 1
·	Arnold Palmer Course Designer
·	Links 2001 Course Converter
·	Four new golf courses

Q: So how many courses and players do I get?

A: If you add it all up, you get 13 golf courses, 6 professional players (plus another 10 amateurs), over 1,600 objects in the Arnold Palmer Course Designer library, and the ability to convert up to 36 of your previously-acquired Links LS courses. 

Courses include:

·	All-New: Royal Melbourne Golf Club, Oakmont Country Club, Frankfurter Golf Club, and Robert Trent Jones Trail's Judge Course.

·	Links Expansion Pack Vol. 1: Thanksgiving Point, Canyons Course at Bighorn, Pelican Hill (2001 Version), and Banff Springs (2001 Version).

·	Links 2001: Chateau Whistler, Prince Course at Princeville Resort, Four Seasons Resort Aviara, Westfields Golf Club, and Mesa Roja. (St Andrews Old Course not included.)

Players include: Sergio Garcia, Arnold Palmer, Annika Sorenstam, Mike Weir, Keith Clearwater, and new-comer Hidemichi Tanaka.


Q: What about online play?

A: Links Championship Edition is fully functional with online features like Links Tour and Zone.com. And you can log onto www.linkscountryclub.com for community news, links to fan sites, and more, from the Main Menu.


Q: I've seen Links Championship Edition advertised for up to $54.95 - is there a special price if I already have Links 2001?

A: Each retailer sets the price for the software it sells. But if you own Links 2001, there's a $20 U.S. /$30 CDN mail-in rebate inside the Links Championship Edition box. See packaging for details.

Q: When will Links Championship Edition be available? Where can I purchase it?

A: The product is scheduled to ship on September 20, 2001 to stores in the U.S. and shortly thereafter worldwide. It will be available at most major software retailers and web sites where Links products are available.

Q: Where can I get the older Links LS courses to convert them for play in Links Championship Edition or Links 2001?

A: Twenty-one of the original Links LS courses are available separately on Links LS Classic, which retails at an estimated street price of $19.99. Most of these courses will convert for play in Links Championship Edition and Links 2001.

Q: I've heard there is another Links Expansion Pack in the works - is that true? Will it include the same four new courses found in Links Championship Edition?

A: Yes, Microsoft is scheduled to release Links Expansion Pack Vol. 2 this Thanksgiving. It will not include the four courses found in Links Championship Edition, but will feature other new courses and players. More details are forthcoming.

Q: Is Access Software still developing Links?

A: Absolutely. While the Access Software name no longer exists, we're happy to report that following Microsoft's acquisition of Access Software in 1999, the folks that brought you the original Links continue to innovate this best-selling series.
