This bit of news
has been coming for a while now, but I am
leaving Links and will no longer be updating
this great site I have grown so fond of. I
have found a new game to play online and have
really taking a liking to it. You all take
care and if there's ever a Links 200? I may be
back.
February 6
New Team Added
With the USA team
folding, the
One For Fun team has been
added. They are all former USA players and
will be playing in the FFA and OGT. I wish
them the very best, have fun all.

USA Team Has Folded
I awoke this
morning to find that one of the most powerful
teams ever has folded. I have no details
as to why right now, but their site reports they
are no more. I wish all of them well where
ever they go.
January 14
Mega Poll is Back
I have finely
found a new, add free polling service that fits
the bill. Please feel free to cast your
vote on the following question, "Do you
currently play on a team?" I'm asking
because lately most of my updates are team
related, this will give me a feel for how many
of my readers play on teams or how many do not.

New 1.06 Mod Ladder Added
A new ladder
using the 1.06 Mod has been added. Run by
TIG_Ruffain, this ladder is sure to be a success
and offer hours of great fun.

This site has
been right under my nose for a while and I
missed adding it here. It's called

Tutorials, a Golfer Animation Project and lot's
more helpful items. You can find it on the

Happy New Year
It's been a busy
week since I last updated Christmas day. I am
updating a tad early to be able to take care of
some other sites I do. Please everyone, have a
Happy New Year, be safe and let's pray that 2006
is a blessed, safe and prosperous year.

Merry Christmas
I want to take a
moment and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
With another Mega year almost complete I also
want to say thank you for continuing to visit
and support this site. While not what it
used to be in it's hey day, the site continues
to attract between 160-250 visitors each day and
about 416 page hits per day as well.
Thanks much all, and Merry Christmas.

Tournament Terrors Clubhouse Release
The Tournament Terrors Golf Club is proud to
announce that they are entering their 10th
year of tournament play on January 15th,
2006.
Originally founded on December 15th,
2006 as the “Twenty-One Club”, by TT_Percival
and TT_RickG, the club has evolved much over the
years. The original premise of the club was a
place where people who had every course released
for Microsoft Golf could come to play, the club
quickly became one of the Microsoft Golf 3.0
powerhouses winning 2 or the 3 Team Tournaments
held in 1997 and finishing second in the 3rd.
With MS Golf’s popularity fading and Links LS’s
release, the club slowly made the switch to
Links. The team has a proud history of
tournament participation in the WGA, IGT, OGT,
FFA, LSIT, LOGO, and many more that have come
and gone. Over the years the team has waxed and
waned with the season, but remained a group of
tight knit companions who’s primary objective
was to enjoy the game.
With the start of the New Year, TT_CharlieW has
stepped down as club captain, but will remain an
active and important part of the team. TT_OleMan
will become the new Captain on January 15th
and continue TT_CharlieW’s vision of running
“The Classiest Team on Net”. The TT Club looks
forward to its 10th year of online
golf with plans to gather on December 15th,
2006 at RTJ Judge for a weekend outing to
celebrate their official 10th
anniversary.
